Your Guide to Joining the Story Runners

Welcome to the StreamTeem community! Joining our "Story Runners" Patreon is the key to unlocking our exclusive software, custom plugins, and private member conversations on Discord.

Part 1: Become a "Story Runner" on Patreon

This is where you'll sign up for the membership.

1. Go to our Patreon Page:
   Click here to visit the StreamTeem Patreon page
2. Choose the "Story Runners" Tier and click the Join button.
3. Create or Log In to your Patreon Account:
   • If you are NEW to Patreon: You'll be asked to create an account. Enter your name, email, and a password. You can also sign up using Google, Apple, or Facebook for a faster process. Then, enter your payment information and confirm your membership.
   • If you ALREADY HAVE a Patreon account: Log in with your email and password, confirm your payment details, and click Confirm to join.

You are now officially a "Story Runner"! Next, let's get you set up on Discord.

Don't have a Discord Account?

Discord is a free text and voice chat app where our community lives. If you don't have an account, setting one up is quick and easy.

1. Go to Discord.com: Open your web browser and visit discord.com.
2. Download the App (Recommended): You can download the app for your computer (Windows/Mac) or phone (iOS/Android). You can also use Discord directly from your browser.
3. Create Your Free Account: Click "Login" in the top-right corner, then find the "Register" link. You'll just need an email, a unique username, and a password.

Once you've created your Discord account, you're ready for the final step!

Part 2: Connect to Discord & Get Your Access

This step gives you the special "Story Runner" role in our Discord, which unlocks the private channels.

1. Connect Your Accounts:
   Go to your Patreon profile settings and click on Connected Apps. (Or, use this direct link: https://www.patreon.com/settings/apps)
2. Find Discord and Click "Connect":
   A pop-up window from Discord will appear. Log in to your Discord account if prompted and click the blue Authorize button.
3. Get Your Role & Explore!
   The Patreon bot will automatically sync your membership to the StreamTeem Discord server and grant you the "Story Runner" role. Once you have the role, you will see new private channels appear in the server list. Look for channels like #available-software, #shared-plugins, and #developers to download the software and join the conversation!
